Eating food from Black Facebook Marketplace
by GLOBAL TERROR
·
Eddie Warlock and I go deep into the dark black underbelly of black Facebook Marketplace food hustles, Instagram snack reels, mystery sauces, trunk-store entrepreneurs, bootleg cereal brands, and homemade meals that may or may not (and definitely shouldn't) be legally classified as food all to ask one simple question, what goes down in the black community when the CIA gets bored?
After weeks of dodgy messages, weird deposits, no menus, no replies, and some of the blackest ordering systems ever created, we head into San Bernardino to see what the underground snack economy is really serving up.
On the menu, mystery wings, booger carrots, American-single mac and cheese, red drank, foot sauce, and the legendary UNICORN snack - Kool-Aid pineapples everyone wants to try but nobody wants to make the sacrifices to get (ya know, dealing with THOSE people).
Is it all a scam? Is any of it good? Will Warlock survive the sauce? There’s only one way to find out & at the end of it all it becomes glaringly obvious that these wacky foods are just another distraction from a much larger, looming threat.........
But until then DIH BIH GAH
